Elevate Language Lab LLC (ELEVATE) respects the privacy of families and students. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to families.
1. Information We Collect
- Parent or guardian contact information, such as name, email, phone number, and preferred contact method.
- Student information submitted by a parent or guardian, such as student name, grade, school district, school, current French or Spanish teacher, target language, language background, goals, availability, program preferences, and enrollment information.
- Billing and enrollment transaction information. Payment details are processed by payment providers. ELEVATE may receive payment status and limited billing or transaction information.
- Basic website and technical information that hosting, security, form, or communication providers may process to operate the site and services.
2. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries and support enrollment.
- Evaluate program readiness and fit when applicable.
- Build cohorts and schedules.
- Avoid inappropriate school or current-teacher assignments under ELEVATE policy.
- Provide instruction and family communication.
- Support billing, accounting, recordkeeping, security, and legal or compliance needs.
- Improve ELEVATE services.
3. Children and Minors
Our public enrollment and inquiry forms are intended to be completed by a parent or guardian, not by a child under 13. ELEVATE does not ask children under 13 to submit personal information directly through the public website. If ELEVATE knowingly collects personal information online directly from a child under 13 through an ELEVATE service, we will provide any notice and obtain any verifiable parental consent required by applicable law before collection, unless an exception applies.
Parents and guardians may contact ELEVATE to request review, correction, or deletion of a child’s information, subject to legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as reasonably needed with:
- ELEVATE educators and staff assigned to support the student.
- Service providers supporting customer relationship management and enrollment, payments, website hosting, communications, video and productivity tools, and similar operations.
- Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law.
ELEVATE does not sell personal information and does not use student personal information for targeted advertising.
5. Data Retention and Security
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including program delivery, administration, accounting, legal, and recordkeeping needs. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it where appropriate.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your Choices / Parent Rights
Families may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or ask questions, by contacting ELEVATE. Requests may be limited where retention is required for legal, accounting, or contractual reasons.
7. Third-Party Services
Linked or embedded third-party services may have their own privacy practices. Families should review those services’ privacy policies when using them.
