New for 2027: A Fully Digital AP Exam
Fully Digital in Bluebook
Beginning in May 2027, AP French Language and Culture and AP Spanish Language and Culture are fully digital in Bluebook. Students complete both multiple-choice and free-response work in the app, and speaking responses are recorded directly in Bluebook.
Course Project + Speaking
Before exam day, students complete the new AP World Language Course Project. Their research prepares them for two speaking tasks on the exam: the Project Presentation and the Project Q&A.
Personalized Project Reference (PPR)
Students submit a Personalized Project Reference, or PPR, through the AP Digital Portfolio by April 30. The PPR is an outline of the student’s presentation and is provided back to the student for reference on exam day.

No. Previous debate experience is not required.
Students do not need to attend the same school. ELEVATE brings together students from different schools and communities who have a strong foundation in French or Spanish and are ready for more advanced communication.
Because ELEVATE Debate & Communication is a group program, tuition reserves your child’s place in the group. If your child misses a session, the group still meets and instruction continues, so missed sessions are not refunded, credited, or made up individually.
Groups open at 4 students and close at 6.
Yes. Sessions are online and live.
ELEVATE AP Prep runs from February through the end of April, with live 55-minute sessions.
AP French Language and Culture and AP Spanish Language and Culture.
Yes. The 2026-27 AP French and AP Spanish Language and Culture exams are revised, and the May 2027 exams are fully digital in Bluebook. ELEVATE prepares students for the updated format, including the Course Project, Project Presentation, Project Q&A, Personalized Project Reference (PPR), argumentative writing, listening, reading, timing, and Bluebook familiarity.
AP Small Group Prep has 3 to 4 students, with a maximum of 4. AP Duo Prep has 2 students.
AP Pre-Enrollment opens November 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM Mountain Time. Families complete Step 1 first. After Step 2 is completed and the $125 AP enrollment fee is paid, the student joins the AP cohort waitlist. Priority is based on the date the enrollment fee is received. Final placement depends on language, format, teacher availability, student availability, and enrollment demand.
